How to curl hair with herstyler hair straightener?

I got a herstyler hair straightener at the mall and they curled my hair with it and it looked perfect, but when i try it always looks like its just bent and it doesnt even curl. How do i do a perfect curl like they do at the mall?How to curl hair with herstyler hair straightener?
okay first what you do is take a piece of hair, start as close as you can from the roots with the straightener, start twisting the straightener around the strand of hair pulling lightly and going down to the ends.

You take a small section of hair and starting at the roots, and turn the straightener 180 degrees. Then slowly move the straightner down the section of hair.
