How do your curls stay in when you use a straightner to curl them?

Okay so i curl my hair in the morning with a straightener. %26amp;%26amp;%26amp; i use hairspray of course. But by like lunch time it looks messy. I like it in the morning then its crappy in the afternoon. :P i neeeed help.How do your curls stay in when you use a straightner to curl them?
