I need styling advise!?
I'm 13 years old teen. And since I'm teen I ALWAYS want to look cute especially infront of cute guys. I have layered hair. shortest comes to a little longer than my chin and longest comes to my chest. And my hair is half wavy. I want to look cute infront of this guy but I have no hair straightener and I only have curling iron but my mom dosn't let me use it but i use it by myself anyways w/ o my mom knowing but i cant curl it good by myself and even if i curl t, it gets half wavy again cuz i don't have any hair product. So i need a advise 2 curl hair w/ o a curling iron that dosn't come off easily or how to straighten my hair w/ o straightener. And a cute way to tie my hair just with a hair band(and you have to remember that my hair is layered so I can't really tie them good. Piece of hair always sticks out) And style that boys like. If you can, can you provide a pictures too? thanks!I need styling advise!?
Well boys like a lot of different hair styles so if you feel confident and that youre rocking whatever you do with your hair they will notice that.
As far as straightening your hair with a curler goes its pretty hard. Why is your mom against a straightener? A few options for making your hair curly or more wavy are: out of the shower before you go to bed put a little gel or product in your hair and then braid it in a few braids and sleep on it. When it dries like that it normally makes hair really pretty and wavy/curly all over.
Another way is to get some curling gel. If you get out of the shower and put it in your hair and kind of spin pieces of your hair with your finger and let it dry it will get a lot more curly. For making it straighter out of the shower you could blow dry it straight with just a blow dry and a brush.. keep brushing until its dry and straight.. they also have product for that too
a cute style that guys like that makes you seem really easy going or fun would be a small braid in front. its soo easy just take the front of your hair braid it along the side and secure it with spray or a pin and put the rest in a messy bun or something. really easy and cute

messy buns can be really cute with layered hair because sometimes peices fall out and look really cute and wispy.. so its ok if peices are sticking out- esp if your hair is wavy

you could always do a half up kind of thing..

Quick somethings for my hair?
Usually, I after my showers I will live my hair down. It will look great wet, but when it dries it gets all wavy and looks bad. What happens is it will curl underneath. My hair is at my shoulders and Im not sure what I can do in the mornings to help it. I also want some easy ideas of how to put it up some days. Any help could be useful...I am just at a lost of how to do my hair. I dont like using my hair straightener, because it makes my hair poofy sometimes, even with sprays to help.Quick somethings for my hair?
you may apply more conditioner to the bottoms and let it stay for longer before washing.. this leave xtra moisture in the hair and keeps it from getting tangled and curled...
dont towel dry.. let it dry loose.. you may apply some mousse for wet hair to hold in the same texture...
try this.. hope this helps you...
gud luck :)Quick somethings for my hair?
I suggest that you pamper yourself and go to a good hairdresser. Make sure you don't go to a Super cuts or another chain of cheap places. Go to a real cosmetologist and have her or him spend some time with you. They may give you a hair cut, but you decide what you want to be able to do with your hair. Good Luck.
There is this great deep conditioner that the blacks use called ';cholestrol'; it's really thick and smells like crap but if you leave it in your hair for a few minutes and use it often enough, it prevents the frizziness. All of those goops and creams that are supposed to stop frizziness really do absolutely nothing at all.
i would get some carrot oil. i have the same problem and carrot oil works for me. you can find it a walmart just use a little. African americans use it it works wonders.
Your hair needs conditioning friend, its the sane case with my hair. They get dried and fluffy.. I apply some good hair oil, coconut, olive oil or what suits you best - once a week or once in 2 weeks.
Give yourself a nice hair massage or ask a friend to give you one. It will moisten your hair and scalp. And it will also activate your cells in the head.

I have really striaght hair about the same length, get a spiral curling iron. It is amazing. :]URGENT!!What is the best way to curl my hair?
It is hard to explain really! You need to take a piece of hair in the straightners and then twist the angle of the straightners. Keeping the straightners in this position pull them down the length of the hair and the hair will curl around them as it moves down. I dont know if this makes much sense, here is a link with a video

Happy Birthday!!
try washing your hair and plaiting it while its wet
my granny said eating your crusts will help....otherwise old fashioned heated rollers
Get curling tongs - BaByliss Rebel Porcelain Conical curling wand! Or plait your hair put some hairspray on and leave through out the night, my sister does that on her hair makes it wavy but not curly - Good Luck and Happy Birthday for tomorrow.
My hair is super straight also, and I hate it! Spiral curling irons work the best for curls that stay. If your looking for volume use big curlers that have a pin to hold it. Good luck!
if you buy mary-kate and ashley curler they are amazing!!! try it!! or wash your hair and turn on the oven for a while till it gets hott turn it off and sit infront of it !

curl your hair around strands of fabric..... then tie them up.....(when wet) %26amp; repeat... sleep on it.... and in the morning you should have barrel -like curls.

How do I fix curly hair from water/moisture?
When ever I take a shower, go swimming, or go out in humid weather etc, My hair curls up at the ends of my hair and it looks horrible!
So, How do I fix this? and what may be causing it?
I don't want to chemically straighten my hair or straighten it with a hair straightener. The only thing I do is use the hair drying to blow it straight for now. But I can't really use a hair dryer when I go to a public swimming pool, aye? It would be odd bringing it with me. But how do I keep it naturally straight forever? How do I fix curly hair from water/moisture?
There is no way to keep curly hair naturally straight forever. You have to blow dry it using straightening products or flat iron it. Thats just life. Thats like asking how can you make straight hair curly, naturally...doesn't make a lot of sense...
To respond to your edit: Thats just the way your hair is. You didn't ';do'; anything to your hair to make it change. Most people's hair changes as they get older. Especially girls when they hit puberty. I have many clients who say then they hit puberty, their hair got curly or lost curls it may have had, got darker, got thicker, got thinner etc. The change was more than likely due to hormones. I myself use to have very blonde hair when I was younger and around 11 or 12 years old it got darker and is now a medium brown color. How do I fix curly hair from water/moisture?
Oh wow. You sound like me a year ago or so. I'm dead serious right now. Keep your hair the way it is. Not only do all those things dry your hair out, but the way your hair is right now, fits you the best. Just think, no other person has the exact same way your hair curls. And when you straighten it, that means you're just trying to look like everyone else. I used to think curly hair was horrible. Completely hated it. Then I just left it go curly. I guess I got fed up with it. And then after months of letting it be curly I straightened it and went to school. Everyone went up to me and said, ';What did you do to your hair?!';
And also, I tried chemical straightening. It does not work and leaves your hair brittle and damaged. The first time you do it, it makes your hair look good. Next time - makes it look horrible. And your hair will not feel the same way for a long time. What exactly don't you like about your hair? The poofiness? Cause if that's the problem, then buy deep conditioner every once and a while. Sally's sells Ion repairing whatever, and it's packet is white. It makes your curly hair go into loose beautiful curls (or at least it did for me) and cost less than two dollars.
There is no way to make your hair straight forever. Sorry. You should just love your curly hair. It makes you, you.

The quickest and easiest way to curl my hair without using curlers or straighteners?
I have medium/long length hair and I can curl my hair fine with my straighteners but it takes me ages. I also have curlers but Im not the best at using them. Are there any other ways of curling my hair to create big loose curls? I have looked round the internet but everything seems to make ringlets which isn't really what I want. One of my friends mentioned overnight hair rollers, but they don't seem to make big curls, and Im not quite sure how they work. Help please? :S Oh and if anyone knows the quickest ways can you please tell me so I can do it without a huge rush in the morning! :)The quickest and easiest way to curl my hair without using curlers or straighteners?
I would either braid my hair that gives it curliness or waviness. and then ad moouse.
but for me, I found that if I was my hair and don't brush it, it goes curly on it's own. It's really funny, I get compliments on how my hair looks good when i put the least effort into it.The quickest and easiest way to curl my hair without using curlers or straighteners?
a dish is good
The quickest way is to use a good styling gel or mousse flip upside down and use your hairdryer with diffuser....Works every time.
I use some mousse, and then a diffuser attaches to my hairdryer, i then push the hairdryer with diffuser attached gently, from the bottom of my hair to the top try this website, its fantastic for tips on all sorts of things, great hair and beauty tips too, good luck. http://www.videojug.com/film/wavy-waves.
After a shower put curling mousse in your hair then braid it. In the morning take the braids out, voila....

start at your scalp with the flat iron. take a 2 inch section of hair and place it between the plates. clamp down and at medium speed, twist it as far as you can towards your and and move down as you do it. dont go to slow, you will be left with creases. and not to fast or it will fall flat. i hope this sort of helps. Good luck! (:Help me! curling hair help! please!?
Start by washing your hair thoroughly. Make sure you get rid of all the grease, grime, and dirt
Towel dry your hair to get rid of most of the moisture. When it is nice and damp, apply a bit of styling gel, mousse, or styling spray evenly to your hair. Once done, dry your hair using a blow dryer until it is completely dry. This stage is crucial; the curls will last longer and form better when dry and when good-quality hair products are applied
Have some hairclips handy. Clip your hair in several sections to ease the process. Take one section at a time. Brush each section with brush or comb to get rid of tangles and knots. If your hair is very fine, then lightly apply a soft-hold hairspray to hold the curls well
Take your hair curling iron, open the tip, and insert your hair in it. Close the barrel of the iron on your hair. Check if all of the ends of your hair on that section are enclosed completely in the barrel.
.When everything checks out fine, start rolling the iron up. Do not let it touch your scalp though, or you may suffer burns. Hold the iron in that position for about ten seconds or so
