Help me! curling hair help! please!?

okay so i have been trying to curl my hair with the HERSTYLER STRAIGHTENER. and they did it for me at the mall and it look soooooo good. i am trying to do it again but i just can't. it looks messy and YUCK! can you please help me. i have watch a lot of videos on youtube and i still can't do it. it doesn't even curl when i do it. can you please send me some ways how you do it and tell me what you do! thank you sooo much!Help me! curling hair help! please!?
start at your scalp with the flat iron. take a 2 inch section of hair and place it between the plates. clamp down and at medium speed, twist it as far as you can towards your and and move down as you do it. dont go to slow, you will be left with creases. and not to fast or it will fall flat. i hope this sort of helps. Start by washing your hair thoroughly. Make sure you get rid of all the grease, grime, and dirt

Towel dry your hair to get rid of most of the moisture. When it is nice and damp, apply a bit of styling gel, mousse, or styling spray evenly to your hair. Once done, dry your hair using a blow dryer until it is completely dry. This stage is crucial; the curls will last longer and form better when dry and when good-quality hair products are applied

Have some hairclips handy. Clip your hair in several sections to ease the process. Take one section at a time. Brush each section with brush or comb to get rid of tangles and knots. If your hair is very fine, then lightly apply a soft-hold hairspray to hold the curls well

Take your hair curling iron, open the tip, and insert your hair in it. Close the barrel of the iron on your hair. Check if all of the ends of your hair on that section are enclosed completely in the barrel.

.When everything checks out fine, start rolling the iron up. Do not let it touch your scalp though, or you may suffer burns. Hold the iron in that position for about ten seconds or so
