How can I do my hair without a Straightener?

I use to curl my hair with it and of course to straighten my hair [even though my hair is straight] as well but I cut my hair a little below my shoulders and I promise my mom I wasn't going to use my straightener anymore until my hair grew... [my hair needs to grow long for my fifteen ha ha I have like more than year so yeah]...do you guys have any ideas

You can use a roll brush and a blow dryer.
