I have fine, thin naturally very straight hair. But i like big messy hair looks.
I have a hair curling wand which works great but it takes a long time and the heats not good for my hair. Does anyone have any tips for someone like me to get big hair?
Theres lots of conflicting advice on the internet, some people say dry upside down, some people say don't. Does anyone know a way to get big hair or curly hair with out using hair straighteners or electric curlers?
thanks!How to get big, volumised, wavy hair?
Coconut milk has apparently good effects as far as getting volume on your hair is concerned. Try to do some research on google. :)How to get big, volumised, wavy hair?
Start by applying a bodifying foam all over your hair and let it dry naturally,';
Once dry, mist with thickening spray. With a small curling iron, wrap small sections of hair from the scalp to the ends. Mist shine spray when the entire head is curled.
Finish by softly spreading the curls apart to enhance the volume
I know all about your dilemma - you probably love your hair almost as much as I love mine, and you don't want to damage it at all. I was pretty much like that, until today, when I got a perm and it turned to look not that nice. Hopefully the curls will 'loosen up' and look better after a while.
I guess one way of getting nice curls is to use those... kind of cylindrical things with little 'dots' that are spiky that grab your hair... you know those things that old ladies wear to make their hair curly! Haha. You could wear those overnight, I guess, but I tried that once, and it didn't really work well for me (I'm a person who likes to move around a lot during sleep, and it's pretty uncomfortable for your head.)
Another way is to just make a messy bun after you shower. You can probably search up ';how to make a messy bun'; on Wikihow and you'll figure it out. Oh yeah, but don't pull out any part of your bun. It'll be easier to just make a bun with wet hair because then you won't have random strands all over the place.
Another way is to braid your hair overnight (hint: do it when your hair is wet). It probably won't make big waves or anything but maybe it'll work. I've personally never really tried it before.
I have this book on hair... well, I had it, and then it kind of disappeared. It mentioned these curling things (the old granny ones) except you can heat them up and stick 'em in your hair or something. Not sure what they're called, but I thought that info might be of use for you.
Good luck! I hope you achieve the hair that I was never able to :P
