How do you use tony and guy hair curlers?

i bought these hair curlers about a year ago and i've never used them because i can't, i've tried a fair few times but all it does is put a massive kink in my hair :(

anybody who has these curlers could you send me video or tell me how to use them? i can curl my hair with my Straighteners but i'd really like to know how you use the curlers, i've tried using my friends curlers and i could do it with them but maybe there's a different technique used for these ones becuase they just will not work! haa. thank you (:How do you use tony and guy hair curlers?
