How do i curl my hair with a straightener?

We were dressing up for a party and my friend was curling her hair with my straightener. She done my hair for me and showed me how to do it a few times but i can never pick up the technique...

Anyone who got good techniques for creating tight bouncy curls...plzz show me how in details. How do i curl my hair with a straightener?
OK, firstly get in the shower and wash your hair twice with shampoo and once with conditioner.

put in some heat protector

blowdry your hair until it is completely dry

get a 1inch squared peice of hair

clasp your straiteners that section of hair

twist it at half a circle and begin to pull down

as your straiteners pull down your hair twist it a little more

do that through all your hair

add some hairspray to keep it in place

TIPS: %26gt;if you pull down fast the tighter the curls

%26gt;pull down slow and they will be big and loose

%26gt;practise a few times so you can get hold of the technice if your wanting it like that for a party.

hope i helped :-)How do i curl my hair with a straightener?

the best straightener to use is a GHD, and u just spin ur hair around the straightener like u would a curler i guess. and use lots of hairspray
Twist your hair round the straighteners at the same time as pulling them down.

Its difficult to explain.
Well its hard to explain but the way i found out was from this video

The soft curl video
Wind your hair around one of the tongs, close and slide hair out sideways. Be careful not to do it too tightly to avoid kinks.
theres some good videos on the ghd website :)
This would only work with a thin straightener.

Start of by dividing your hair into sections, as if your about to straighten it.

Grasp one piece with the straightener, then start twisting it as if you were turning a key 360 degrees. While twisting, pull the straightener until it's completely off that piece. You should then see bouncy curls.

[P.S - it's perfectly normal if you feel some tugging.]
