How do you curl your hair with a straightener?

I have watched a couple youtube videos and the ways they show doesn't work on my hair. Do you have to have a certain hair straightener? How do you curl your hair with a straightener?
nope it doesn't have to be a certain type but having a really good straightener helps.

i always thought it doesn't work for me, but turns out i was just doing it wrong when i thought i was doing it right lool. just keep practising (:How do you curl your hair with a straightener?
no the one they use in those commercials is a special one that has for both u cant curl ur hair with a regular straightener
well i use mine to make nice waves, but i gues they come out as curls 1st

anywayz, you need a ceramic 1/2'; - 1'; straightening iron, put the iron at the top of your hair, and roll the iron up, then in this position, pull down(as if straightening) slowley

this took me a few tries to get it right, so if you don't get it the first time try again, but wait for you hair to cool down first, otherwise you will just be burning your hair and nothing will happen
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.

Try this tutorial out so you can see what I''m talking about:

You need a flat iron around 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
i've tried and it is harder than it looks! i usually end up with weird kinks in my hair or burns. to really curl it you need a mini straightener (i got one for my friend but it broke lol.)

there's a ton of minis.

good luck x]
mine come out as loose waves.

i always put a curling product in my hair so it can come out better.
Well when you curl your hair with a straitner, you only get a little curl at the very end of your hair. when you hold it, you hold it so your hair is making an indent. - kk21398
