How do you curl hair with a flat iron/straightener ??

Can someone please give me some videos/instructons on how to curl hair with a straightener?

Take a strand of hair and put it between the straightener (as is to straighten) then when going down ward twist the straightener around (in a circle) In a sort of rolling motion.

o Start half-way down the length of hair, clamp the iron closed and turn it back on itself in a half turn. You should now have created a U-shape with the hair and the iron. Keeping the iron on that half-turn angle, slowly move it down the hairshaft to the end of the hair. The faster you move the iron, the less pronounced the curl/flick will be.

* For Curls:

o Start fairly close to the scalp (but not close enough to accidentally burn it), clamp the iron closed and turn it back on itself a half turn (the same as with flicks). Run the iron slowly down the hairshaft to the end. Again, the slowler you move the iron, the tighter the curl. The faster you move the iron, the gentler the wave.)



# Move onto the next inch x inch section. Once you've finished an entire row, section the next inch-wide row and then make your smaller sections to curl.

# Finish with hairspray or laquer.

pretty much the same way you would with a curling iron.

just turn the straightener instead of going all the way down.
usually it depends what kind of striaghner you have..

it has to be a realllllly good one to have the perfect curls

okay, you get the piece of hair you want to curl and

clamp it about 1 or 2 inches from your roots.. then you

close the straightener and you wrap you hair around three

time and slide down slowy.. the slower the better the curl.
do it the same way u would do it with a curling iron but use one of those thin ones oh and for videos just go to youtube youll find plenty there so just try which ever u like best

Ignore the shameless promotion of the particular iron... and start at the bottom back clip up the rest and work your way to the top of your head.

It will prolly take a couple of tries to get this. Its awkward at first.
put the straightner at the roots of your hair (clamping a small section of dry hair)

twist the straightner around the hair once.

then straighten down as the twisted hair slowly unravels itself and you will end up with curls.
