How to curl hair with straightener.. i cant seem to get the hang of it?

i have tried curling my hair with a straightner but i cant seem to get the hang of it... please tell me the steps by steps.. no videos please.. ive watch a bunch of them!!How to curl hair with straightener.. i cant seem to get the hang of it?
1) make sure your hair is DRY DRY DRY!

2) section your hair with clips, if you have layers section your hair in the layers, i normally do my hair, half up half down and start from the lower half then do the upper half (i do not have layers)

3) always use heat protection spray, i use tresseme it is my favorite and smells good

4) your straightener should be small, not the big ones! a small one inch one would be the best

5) clamp hair from the bottom and wrap up like a curling iron

6) do not hold the hair in place to long (because there are no heaters on the outside it is not necessary to hold as long)

7) spray with hair spray when you are done and apply a little mouse

hope i helped =)How to curl hair with straightener.. i cant seem to get the hang of it?
take the straightener and put it upside down and put the hair in it as if it was the right way up, then flip it back to the proper way and turn the straightener sideways and pull down really slow.
When you are running the iron through your hair turn the iron so that the hair wraps around it a little like if you had it around a curling iron. Its kind of weird at first but it will give a pretty spiral once you get the hang of it. Remember to wrap it the direction you want the curl to flow in. Like wrapping it backwards so it flows back or forward so the curls go toward your face. Be careful to do it at a good speed and not too slow so you don't get any lines or marks.
