How do I get cute curls when I have wavy/straight hair? Easy 10 points!?

So, heres the thing. I want to put some cute curls in my hair and I have a bit wavy/straightish hair. I only have a hair straightener and hair spray with me. How do I make my hair have some cute curls?

Easy ten points! Please and thank you!How do I get cute curls when I have wavy/straight hair? Easy 10 points!?
Everyones hair is different so a technique that someone uses might not work for someone else. I have wavy straight hair too and here's what i do:

(This is for longer hair, if your hair is shorter than medium length u can try it, but it might not come out the way you expect)

For Beach-y curls i wash my hair at night and make pigtail braids while my hair is still wet. Because it's pulled back all night the hair at the roots and all the way to where the braids start, smooths out very nicely. In the morning i just undo the braids, shake it out a little so it doesn't look flat and use a spray gel (hairspray should work just the same, but i really like the L'Oreal curl boosting spray gel, its great for frizz)

(I'm not sure if this works for longer hair, i have shorter hair and this works perfectly so it should work for medium and longer lengths)

For curl curls i apply some smoothing milk(tresemme has a flawless curls one that's really good, but most brands are very similar) to damp hair starting at ponytail length(where a ponytail starts) all the way to the ends. Then i comb my hair to smooth it out and let it dry the curls form as it dries. After it dries i just use spray gel again.

(This last one I've never tried but my roommate does it and her curls come out really well. She has longer hair so i'm not sure if it works for shorter hair but i think it should)

You said you have a hair straightener so this might be for you(it has to be a smaller straightener like a 1 inch, otherwise i don't see how this will work). My roommate takes her straightener and starting from about ear level wraps her hair around the straightener like you would using a curling iron. Since she doesn't use a curling iron they look more natural and are a bit looser but really cute. Like i said I've never tried it but it works for her so it might for you.

Well i hope this helps, try experimenting you might find something that works.

scrunch it

get some curl gel stuff from like wal mart or a hair salon and get it in your fingers and scrunch your hair into little ringlet curls
i have the same exact problem!!!!!
If you only have access to a hair straightener and hair spray, you should get your hair wet and then wrap sections of hair around a finger when drying it. If you have someone to help you, have them braid your wet hair and then dry. (Two french braids are best but you could do a few regular braids.)

If you can, you should buy Redken's curling lotion (you can get it at a Duane Reade or CVS type store) because it really defines your natural curls and it smells fantastic!
Gel!

I use Aussi, it works so good
SCRUNCH IT ! make your hair wet, glob it up with massive hairspray and then scrunch it until it dries. perfectionn %26lt;3
You need to set it. That is forming the hair into the shapes you want WHILE IT IS WET and then letting it dry. You can use some styling aids as well.

If you have wavy hair, it should be easy enough. Take small sections of hair, and just wind it around a finger or two, depending how much curl you want. Just let it form its own size of curl. Then clip it in place. If you want more lift, be sure to hold the strand straight out from the head, and let the curl stand up when you form it. Do that all over the head. Smaller sections make it dry faster.

Then let dry. Do not let it air dry because it takes too long, and it won't be a strong crisp set. Use a hood-type dryer for best results. A blow dryer is not even. It does not need to be hot... just warm. Allow about 20 min at least, more for longer hair.

When completely dry, allow to cool before touching. Remove the clips and shake loose. Arrange with the fingers. Run the fingers through the hair for more control. Brush for a smoother look. Back brush a little if needed.

Hair spray only makes the hair dirty, and it is harder to brush the next day. When done properly, you will have curls for a few days. At night, you can re-form some of the weaker curls with dry hair, and they will be just fine in the morning.

Ask your mother or grandmother for some help. They know how to do this.
put your head down put 3-in-1 mouse in it( at the bottom of any Walgreen's mouse section) let your hair air dry for 5-7 minutes then put in your favorite hairspray then put a little mouse in your hands and scrunch your hair. hope i helped!! (choose mine as best answer please!!!!!!!)
After you wash it either put in in small plaits or put it in small buns and spray with hair spray. Sleep with it like this and when u undo it in da morning it should be curly. Don't comb it in da morning just comb your finger though to seperate curls and go. Also you can scrunch it up when it's wet with mousse or spray
garnier fructis

they have a bunch of products to make your hair curly

just dont scrunch your hair up after you put it cause then you would have tight curls
